You don’t need another language app. You need a real conversation.

The Polyglot Society

Where “fluent someday” becomes “holding a conversation today.”

You’ve got enough vocab lists.

You don’t need more grammar drills.

You need practice. You need mistakes.

You need that messy, magical moment when you just say it... wrong tense and all... and they still get you.

That’s fluency.

That’s Polyglot Society.

Here’s how we make it happen:

✅ Weekly live Zoom chats with native speakers… no robots allowed

âś… Real convos. Real people. Zero boring drills.

✅ Weekly challenges that nudge you out of “thinking” and into speaking

âś… A messy-beautiful community that cheers your wins (and your hilarious fails)

No grades. No grammar police. No “you must master verb conjugations before you can talk about tacos.”

Just you… speaking, laughing, getting better every damn week.

Your future fluent self is waiting. Let’s get you talking.

Hi, I’m Jenny.

Besides chasing my kids around, I have three big passions: travel, languages, and connecting with others (which, let’s be honest, is way easier when we speak the same language!).

I spent years studying Spanish growing up, but it wasn’t until I actually spoke with native speakers at work that I truly became fluent.

Then life got busy... and after a decade without real conversation, I found myself struggling to hold even the simplest chats again.

I thought learning a new language would be different.

I spent over a year learning French on a language app… but when I finally made it to France, I couldn’t understand anyone, and basic phrases made my head spin.

And yet… after just ten days immersed in real conversations, something shifted.

I could suddenly understand people more easily and started feeling at home with the language.

The same thing happened when I traveled to Spain… my Spanish started to flow again.

These experiences cemented what I now believe deeply:

  • Language learning is not about perfect grammar.
  • It’s about real conversations. Real connection. Real courage to show up imperfectly.

But here's the catch:

Finding people to practice with… intentionally, regularly, and without pressure… isn’t always easy.

How many native French speakers do I casually bump into every day?

(Answer: basically none.)

And while I do meet Spanish speakers, it’s often in rushed moments where fumbling through sentences isn’t exactly practical.

That’s why I created The Polyglot Society.

A space where language lovers come together to intentionally practice speaking, listening, and connecting.

Where we show up… at any level… and celebrate the messy, beautiful journey of becoming fluent through real conversations.

If you’ve been craving a way to truly live your languages...

You’re in the right place.
